HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Please arrive at the massage room located down the hall from the tea bar 5 minutes before your scheduled session, take a seat and allow time to settle.

Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to respect the following booking.

WHAT IS THE CEREMONY?

The Ceremony is the most immersive restoration offering.

This extended session weaves together Thai bodywork, restorative oil work, marma therapy, breath awareness, and subtle nervous system support into one continuous therapeutic experience.

Rather than separate treatments, the experience unfolds as a responsive process that follows the body’s physical, emotional, and energetic patterns in real time.

The extended nature of this offering allows space for the body to move beyond surface layers of holding, creating the conditions for deeper release, integration, and internal settling than is often possible in shorter sessions.

Designed for those seeking profound restoration and deep internal unwinding, The Ceremony offers time, space, and support to fully land in the body. Many guests describe the experience as grounding, clarifying, and deeply restorative long after the session has ended.

WHAT IS MARMA THERAPY?

Marma therapy is a traditional Ayurvedic healing practice that works with subtle points throughout the body associated with physical, emotional, nervous system, and energetic regulation.

Using gentle, intentional touch and stillness-based techniques, the experience helps encourage the release of accumulated tension while supporting deep internal settling and system-wide balance throughout the body.

Subtle therapeutic tools such as tuning forks or traditional heat-based techniques may occasionally be incorporated to support relaxation, internal balance, and nervous system restoration.

Rather than forceful manipulation, marma therapy works subtly and responsively — often guiding the body into profound states of rest, quiet, and restoration.

Many guests describe the experience as deeply calming, grounding, and emotionally restorative, with effects that continue long after the session has ended.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THAI BODYWORK AND RESTORATIVE OIL BODYWORK?

Mountain Recovery Thai Bodywork is movement-based, working through assisted stretching, compression, traction, and structural release. The body is guided through varied positions and therapeutic movement, supporting mobility, integration, and the release of both physical and subtle energetic patterns through change and motion.

Restorative Oil Bodywork is grounding and continuous, using warm oil and sustained therapeutic contact to calm the nervous system and encourage deep physical and subtle energetic settling through stillness and uninterrupted touch.

Both are deeply restorative, each working through a distinct pathway of release.

DO YOU OFFER PRENATAL OR POSTPARTUM SUPPORT?

Yes.

Prenatal and Postnatal Restoration Support sessions offer a gentle, supportive therapeutic experience designed specifically for pregnancy and postpartum recovery.

These sessions are adapted from Mountain Recovery Thai Bodywork to meet the changing needs of the body during this time, with a focus on physical comfort, nervous system regulation, and embodied ease.

Each session is responsive and carefully held, allowing the body to feel supported, grounded, and deeply cared for during periods of transition.

WILL MY EXTENDED HEALTH BENEFITS COVER THESE SESSIONS?

Jennifer is a non-RMT practitioner.

While receipts include a therapist number and may be accepted by some extended health providers, coverage is not guaranteed and varies between plans.

Guests are encouraged to confirm eligibility directly with their insurance provider prior to booking.

IS THIS EXPERIENCE SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE EXPERIENCING STRESS OR BURNOUT?

Yes.

Many guests seek these experiences specifically for stress, emotional fatigue, burnout, or a sense of disconnection from the body.

Sessions are intentionally designed to support deep settling, regulation, and full-system restoration.

DO I NEED TO BE FLEXIBLE FOR THAI BODYWORK?

Not at all.

Sessions are adapted to your body, mobility, comfort level, and current physical condition.

The work is supportive and responsive rather than forceful, meeting the body exactly where it is.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

For Mountain Recovery Thai Bodywork, Ayurvedic Marma Therapy, and The Ceremony, sessions are performed fully clothed.

Guests are asked to wear comfortable, movement-friendly clothing.

For Restorative Oil Bodywork, draping is used throughout the session to ensure comfort and privacy.

ARE THAI BODYWORK SESSIONS PERFORMED ON A MASSAGE TABLE?

No.

Thai bodywork sessions take place on a heated therapeutic mat designed to support comfort, grounding, and full-body movement.

This allows for assisted stretching, traction, movement-based release, and deep nervous system relaxation.

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM DEEP TISSUE OR RELAXATION MASSAGE?

Unlike relaxation massage, which is primarily soothing, or deep tissue massage, which often focuses on isolated muscular tension, Thai bodywork works with the body as an interconnected whole — including its energetic system.

Through assisted movement, rhythmic compression, traction, guided breath, and responsive therapeutic touch, the work becomes a continuous conversation with the body - supporting communication, release, and reorganization throughout the physical, nervous system, and energetic layers.

As this happens, areas of held tension and emotional charge may begin to soften and unwind naturally, without being directed or forced.

Rather than forcing muscular release, the experience responds moment by moment to what is present, allowing patterns of holding to gradually reorganize in a way that feels intelligent and self-led.

Many guests describe the result as a profound sense of ease, spaciousness, and internal reset - as though the entire system has returned to a more coherent and balanced state.

WHAT IS THAI BODYWORK?

A highly specialized form of traditional Thai bodywork rooted in assisted movement, structural unwinding, rhythmic compression, traction, and intuitive response to the body’s energetic and physical patterns.

Rather than forcing change onto the body, the work responds to the body - following its cues, resistance points, breath, and subtle shifts to guide a gradual release process.

Many guests experience it as a journey rather than a session: a progressive unwinding of tension, stored fatigue, emotional holding, and nervous system overload.

It is not a standard massage.

It is a guided therapeutic experience where the body is gently moved, supported, and assisted into states of release that are often difficult to access through passive treatment.

Experiences of this depth and therapeutic nuance remain rare, offering access to a highly skilled, deeply responsive level of Thai therapeutic bodywork.
